Tiny lights before my eyes burning with the darkened night
Beckons on my childish sight hinting at the power of light
Passages and trails unseen, highways glare with packaged green
Hazy roads and sleepy towns; luring, lilting siren sounds

I know I'm here, I see me there Duality obscures the compass north
Is gravity my friend or foe?
I can not fall here on the floor, by standing up, will I be more?
Though I may run around the world flying waits for wings unfurled
Where are my wings?

Hollow eyes in hallowed smiles; a tiny gift in scarlet hands
Throngs of undirected will cower in celestial sheds
Sprawled upon the temple floor, I'm only cold, there's nothing more
Deny the questions in my head, a martyr's pain just leaves me dead

CHORUS
I see me there, I know I'm here. Duality obscures the compass north
Is gravity my foe or friend?
I can not fall here on the floor. Will bowing down transmute my end?
Though I may dream around the world flying waits for wings unfurled
Which way the sky?

In the mountais made of glass precision rules the ordered plan
Techno god imprisoned mass, elevates the hand of man
Though they tower to the sky, a testament to those who try
The angles of those numbered days automates my own malaise

CHORUS
I know I'm there, I see me here. Duality obscures the compass north
Gravity, my friend, my foe
I can not fall here on the floor. By looking close, now I see more
If I could feel around the world flying wings will soar unfurled
Perhaps I'll fly......
high.

This way the sky
